Europe’s leading provider of digital guest communication solutions for hotels has welcomed a new VP of engineering, who is set to oversee the delivery of its technology expertise, helping the firm to reach new heights and continue its upward market trajectory.
SuitePad, which caters to hotels across the UK and Europe, has brought in Alex Fong to head up its engineering arm, as it seeks to progress from a largely Europe-focused player to a true global leader.
As VP of Engineering, Alex will be tasked with managing and expanding the firm’s team of engineers, while also overseeing strategic product development. SuitePad’s offering is built on a service-orientated architecture that powers tens of thousands of devices throughout hotels across the world, and Alex will be responsible not only for maintaining its efficiency, but also projecting its far-reaching growth.
In his role, Alex will work closely with SuitePad’s founders, helping to ensure the firm is delivering cutting edge technology that stays true to its core principles.
A University of Edinburgh graduate, Alex has years of software engineering experience, having worked in the Netherlands and in Germany as a software developer and engineer for brands that include fromAtoB, Bidmath, Zaypay and the Dutch Central Bank, DNB.
