Having already restored the Hotel Alfonso XIII and Hotel Maria Cristina in Spain, Starwood’s Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts is set to benefit from further investment. The operator will devote approximately $200 million to the renovation of some of its most iconic and historic properties.

The next hotels to be revamped will be The Gritti Palace in Venice and Prince de Galles in Paris, set for completion in 2013.
