The hotel was sold March 9 for an undisclosed price, after a national marketing effort led to a large number of offers from local and national buyers. Broker Ted Holmes said, “We were extremely happy with the national interest we received from Buyers for the Hotel. The location and long-term outlook on the Oklahoma City market generated an extremely competitive bidding process that allowed the property to sell even through the worst market in the history of the hospitality market.”
“Constructed in 2014, this hotel overlooks downtown OKC and is one of Oklahoma City’s most iconic hotels. Despite all the challenges that we have had to navigate as an industry over the last 12 months, Hawkeye Hotels is positioned to continue strategically acquiring properties across the country,” said Mitul Patel, Head of Asset Management at Hawkeye Hotels.
