BWH Hotels, which represents Great Britain’s largest group of independent hotels, including Best Western, has welcomed new partners Hotel Velvet and Hotel 47 to their portfolio.
The boutique hotels, which are owned by KRO Hospitality, are two of 30 hotels nationwide which have signed contracts with BWH Hotels. This is part of BWH Hotels’ five-year strategy to add 8,000 rooms to their portfolio.
Robert Alley, BWH Hotels GB Brand Director, said: “These are wonderful additions to our portfolio and represent the World Hotels luxury brand perfectly.
“We have been targeting northern powerhouse cities as part of our ambitious growth strategy and Manchester was obviously a key market.
“It’s a pleasure to be working with such a great hotel group and to offer them the great benefits of working with BWH Hotels.
“The successes we have had this year is proof that empowering hoteliers while safeguarding their independence – ‘The Power of Two’ – works.”
Kim Eivind Krohn, Managing Director of KRO Hospitality, said: “Partnering with BWH Hotels was such an easy decision to make. We are proud of the individual style of our boutique hotels and we would not have given that up.
“We are happy to keep our independence but take advantage of WorldHotels’ range of benefits such as a global loyalty scheme and affiliate marketing programme.”
